Pita and Pan

Ok so today's lunch wasn't the healthiest, but it was the BEST gyro I've ever had! No lie, better than Oakland Gyro, better than Golden Gyro, better than Gyro's West. AND it's super close to home, is owned by Chef Tony of D Mo's @ the Clarke, and they deliver if need be!!!! What more can you ask for!!!




























When Tony asked what I was having for lunch I told him whatever he choose.... He recommend the the gyro platter.

Here is what I loved about it:

First of all the presentation in the metal tray was new and refreshing.

I loved the Greek salad on the side and the fries were excellent, crispy outside and a perfectly warm potato center, dusted with a homemade seasoning.

But the star was the gyro!

A perfect gyro. The pita was soft and warm, the gyro meat was super moist and didn't have those annoying dry edges you come to expect with a gyro. There were thinly sliced red onion, just enough without being overwhelming, fresh diced cucumber and tomato, and just enough sauce.

I can't wait to have another.... Maybe next week! Or just a huge Greek salad!
